Done! It's Wednesday, July 15th and I have just submitted the BIG test. Whew.
It took every little bit of self-discipline to stay focused on writing. I printed out the final draft and stepped outside to read and edit for the last time....
As I walked down to the Adirondack chairs,
this little friend slithered across my toes!
Oh, boy. Do you know what snake means?
"You're about to go through some significant personal changes, so intense and dramatic that an old self will metaphorically die as a new self emerges" (Farmer, 2006)
Wow, huh? More intensity?!
I finished re-reading and editing.
I kept within the required page limit.
I followed the proper procedures for submission...
Yes!
I did a happy crazy daisy dance...like these guys. Aren't they so fun?
Their name is actually "Crazy Daisy."
One more little tour around the lovely garden, before coming inside to wash two days of dishes and collect up all of the books that were everywhere.
Have you ever had an experience that was so restrictive you didn't even realize it until it was over?
Or that consumed so much time that you neglected everything else?
What did you look like coming out the other side? Did you feel different?
How long did it take you to restabilize?
Really, the only way out - is through!
