I woke this morning, Wednesday, July 22, to the sound of rain. Yesssss!!!
Most of the gardens have been really wanting a good soak. Of course, that left me reevaluating my to-do list. Do you have an inside and outside list?
First order of business was to read through some neglected emails, where I was reminded that today is line 5 (a left angle day). This is from Richard Rudd's 64 Ways:
"Our lives move in cycles of activity and inactivity. We must learn to not be distracted from being inactive. Inactivity is filled with magic. When we’re inactive, we’re fuelling the embryo of immortality inside us. A great French writer and scientist Blaise Pascal said, ‘All men’s miseries derive from not being able to sit alone in a quiet room’."
As a generator, I figure this could also mean being active in a silent way. Creative license, right?
Cynthia and I had a light lunch and then I headed over to really get started on some painting.
It wasn't 100% quiet, because I brought the core harmonizer, too.
This sweet little house is ready for a bit of TLC! I sanded down the wood a bit and got to priming.
Do you like painting?
The slow work became a meditation for me.
I listened to the soft music as I sanded and primed, starting with the trim on the very top floor (Good idea, Elaine!).
As I worked silently, I thought about all of the people who have visited and stayed in the house since I have lived here...and then all of those who had lived there since it was built - some time in the late 1700s.
And I started feeling some strands of energy that various people had left behind!
I requested that all energies be returned, immediately. That any/every/all frequencies that no longer belonged here be escorted to Right Place.
Whew, what a shift!
Confirmation came when I found the small button (above). It's probably Mark's - I just love the fortuitous appearance it made.
When is the last time you spent time alone in a quiet room?
It might be interesting to see what shows up....
