Happy (B)Earth-Day!

Today, Wednesday, April 22, is Earth Day. How are you celebrating?

It really got me thinking about where we are as a collective and where we are going.

Let's consider that, in a sense, we are collectively birthing something new.

Are you feeling any of the symptoms? (I wrote about cravings the other day...funny how they also pertain to pregnancy, huh?)

Quite a number of friends have shared that they feel they've been on a physical and emotional (hormonal?) rollercoaster: breasts are tender, there are cramps, strange cravings and a general exhaustion that feels a bit like being in the 9th month. Collectively, we are ready for contractions, yet not quite.

What have you been experiencing? Take a moment and check in...

Okay. Just like pregnancy, the birth of a new earth, a new paradigm, a new way of being...all of these might come with symptoms, yes?

And while we might be SO happy to be reaching the end of the pregnancy...remember there will also be labor, before delivery! Then, too, the arrival of the newborn will bring a whole new set of experiences.

Like: a huge schedule disruption, change of priorities (and dirty diapers) nighttime feedings, etc.

Can you see where I'm going with this? Are you ready? Physically, Mentally? Spiritually? Emotionally? Rest assured, we wouldn't be here if we weren't up for the task.

In the end, it will all be SO worth it! And rather than being impatient, we can choose to relax into anticipation, trusting that the timing will unfold divinely and perfectly.

All photos are ones I take of things around me here: the second image is from the cover of the book: Kabballah and the Ascension, channeled by David K. Miller. Josephine Wall is the amazing and inspired artist.
