It's Sunday, February 28th - Happy Unbirthday to ME! And thank you, Tony, for calling and singing the 'very merry unbirthday' song this'd make a very excellent Mad Hatter!

It's an '8' day, numerologically, so I'm feeling 'powerful & prosperous;' and biodynamically, it's a 'root' day. Alice. Alive.

Before she left, I shared the Dark Mirror Oracle Deck with Stacie, and we had several cards jump out onto the counter and floor....

Have you realized the Universe is constantly giving you assistance? Messages? Information??

So, of course we read the meaning of these cards. And because they have their own moon phases that accompany them, it did not matter that they fell out willy-nilly (did I really just use that term?!) they have their chronological, lunar-cycle, order.

Do you love the whole play on words? Bride in a cage...not bird? This card is a good reminder to not lose ourselves in denial. A gilded cage is still a cage. Like an abused wife who is fearful of leaving the relationship - or the suppressed Divine Feminine, who is reluctant to claim equal power- it's time to take a good hard look at where we are - individually & collectively.

Untill all of us are free - none of us are free.

Next was Anger and Chains. Anger will certainly show up, once we've moved out of denial: we want to break free!

Followed by: 'I won't cry for you;' which is about creating closure. This leads to acceptance; 'all that was past is not a credit or a is just suddenly no more than a gift.'

As we move through the last day of Gate 37, we arrive at Line 6 - Purpose "The energy to maintain the family is enhanced by recognizing its values. Exaltation: The gift of not only recognizing the inner meaning of the family but an appreciation for its values. The possibility of extending friendships through the appreciation of its value."

This brought us to 'Peaceful among Thorns.'

Again: Acceptance.

'The spiritual can't solve the material. But it can transcend it.'

Interestingly, these cards follow the waning moon (starting now) into first quarter of the waxing moon.

Are all of us going to feel peaceful?'s a very personal decision.

Just like waking up, really.

Like amazing Cal Garrison writes:

'... I see now that the business of waking up is a process. When it comes to humanity, some people wake up the minute the light dawns, with others it takes a while to rub the sleep out of their eyes, and some people press the snooze alarm and go right back to sleep.'

Maybe peace is the same way? It's easy to be peaceful when everything is good...the process of being peaceful among thorns is the process.'
