About the event
With autumn’s abundance of incredible flavors, it’s easy to create nutritious meals your family will love that can easily translate into Holiday fare as well. In this 3 hour hands-on cooking class with Chef Mikayla we’ll focus on from-scratch cooking featuring wholesome, local, organic ingredients. What’s on the Menu?
~White Bean, Rosemary Veggie Quinoa Stew with Garlicky Kale ~Beet Slaw w Pistachio “butter”, Sultana Raisins & Mint ~Caramelized Onion Squash Crustless Quiche
You will be given suggestions for Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan and Meat Lovers with each dish. What to expect: Great cooking isn’t only about recipes(you will receive the recipes)-it’s about technique. In this class you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment. You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. You will learn how to “plate” the food, a feast for your eyes. In the end, you will enjoy a generous tasting of each dish.
